Republicans for Taylor
Welcome to Republicans for Taylor! We started this group to stand against those people who are trying to inject partisanism into Tulsa’s non-partisan race by showing that we have support from Republicans, too! We’ll be featuring the testimonials of Republican Tulsans, so you can see why many Republicans are supporting Kathy Taylor for mayor. Here are a just a few reasons why Republicans are breaking ranks and supporting her.
Getting Back to the Basics - As Mayor, Kathy Taylor built for Tulsa’s future, and got results. She understands that right now we need a back-to-basics approach that focuses on good jobs; cracking down on gangs; giving children more educational opportunities and making city government—and city contractors—accountable to taxpayers.
Making Government Accountable - Tulsa deserves open, accountable government. Kathy Taylor will put the city’s entire budget, including contracts, online so we can see how our money is spent and ensure your neighborhood is getting a fair deal. And she’ll make clear to all city employees and contractors that redundancy, a lack of communication, and wasting time and tax dollars won’t be tolerated.
Reducing crime - Kathy Taylor will take a coordinated approach to fighting crime that strengthens our police, cracks down on gangs, and improves safety. She’ll put more cops on our streets, use smart technology to track criminals, reduce blight and expand mentoring programs for our youth—and Kathy will re-double our efforts to crack down on violence against women and children.
